VAMO 2026 was held on April 21st, 2026 from 3:15-6:45pm at Iroquois Middle School in Niskayuna, NY.

Schedule
- 3:15-4:00pmIntroduction and Instructions
- 4:00-4:30pmIndividual Round

Individual Round
- Participants have 30 minutes to complete 15 problems.
- Each problem is worth 1 point, for a maximum of 15 points.
Team Round
- Each team can consist of 2-4 people from any school that participated in the Individual Round.
- Teams have 50 minutes to complete 20 problems.
- The last 5 minutes of the round, teams receive 3 estimation problems worth 1 point each. The 3 teams that are closest to the answer receive the point.
- Each problem is worth 1 point, for a maximum of 23 points.
Scoring
Team scores are calculated by summing the average score of the team members' Individual Round with the team's Team Round score.
Prizes
Prizes included water bottles from Hudson River Trading, t-shirts from Jane Street, passes to Schenectady's Museum of Innovation and Science, certificates to classes from LIVE by Po-Shen Loh, and Wolfram Alpha software licenses.
